Board Members

Peter Goettner is a general partner at Worldview Technology Partners. He has over 15 years of operational experience, including nearly a decade at the senior management level. At Worldview, he focuses on helping early stage companies develop and execute their growth strategies. Prior to Worldview, Pete was the co-founder and CEO of DigitalThink, a leading e-learning company. At DigitalThink, he led the company through a successful initial public offering, grew revenues to an annualized rate of over $60 million in six years, and pioneered a hosted model for delivering corporate training content that revitalized the formerly stagnant industry. Before founding DigitalThink, Pete ran the marketing and business development groups at Knowledge Revolution (acquired by MSC Software) and Silicon Microstructures. Previously, he was a consultant in Accenture's supply chain management group. Pete earned an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Bob Lisbonne joined Matrix Partners as a General Partner in 2001. Before Matrix, Bob was a general partner with Crosspoint Venture Partners. At Crosspoint, Bob focused on early stage investments in software and related companies. Prior to Crosspoint, Bob was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Browser Products at Netscape. Before that he was Vice President of Marketing at Collabra Software, which was acquired in 1995 by Netscape. Previously, Bob was Director of Integrated Products at Claris and a co-founder of Pacific Coast Software. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker specializing in high technology companies at Goldman Sachs. Bob attended Stanford University, where he earned MBA, MA, and BA degrees and did graduate studies in Computer Science.

Tom Mawhinney joined JAFCO Ventures as a General Partner in 2003, bringing a 15-year background in the technology industry as both a venture capitalist and an entrepreneur. Prior to joining JAFCO Ventures, Tom was with Canaan Partners, a well-regarded, early and expansion stage technology venture capital firm with $2 billion under management. Before joining Canaan, Tom co-founded and was President of North Systems, a venture-backed enterprise software company that focused on helping Global 2000 organizations more effectively manage their third-party sales channels. Prior to starting North Systems, Tom spent five years with Summit Partners, a leading technology-focused venture capital firm with over $6 billion under management, in both their Boston and Palo Alto offices. Tom received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Harvard College.

Duncan Greatwood is Chief Executive Officer of PostPath. Prior to founding PostPath, Duncan held executive positions at Virata/GlobespanVirata/Conexant, including the positions of Vice President Worldwide Marketing, Vice President Corporate Development, and Vice President European Sales. Before joining Virata, Duncan held a variety of engineering and product marketing positions at Madge Networks, and was particularly involved in the development of pioneering products featuring the convergence of voice telephony and data networking. Duncan holds a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Oxford University, and an M.B.A. from London Business School.
