Performance: CPU Utilization

The PostPath Server™ uses a simple internal architecture with a straight-forward C++ calling interface to ensure that data gets from network to disk, and vice-versa, as rapidly as possible. The potential bottleneck operations such as compression/decompression, serialize/deserialize and in-memory searches were hand-coded and measured until they ceased to be a major factor.
