Some operations, such as search and re-sort, are not well measured by LoadSim. Measuring those operations "by hand" also results in strong PostPath results.
For instance, on search performance a PST file containing approximately 17,000 items mixed between Calendar, contacts, and email, was loaded into a user account on Exchange™ and on the PostPath Server™.
Two tests were then run. In both cases, all the items (appointments, contacts, and emails) in the user's data store were searched. In the first test, just the "subject" field was searched. In the second test, subject and message body were searched (the "Notes" section of an appointment or contact corresponds to the body). Results were as follows:

Thus the PostPath Server™ achieved significantly higher throughput when searching by subject and when searching through subject and message body.
