The PostPath Webmail Client also allows the flexibility to choose from a variety of browsers such as Internet Explorer™ (IE), FireFox™, and Safari™ as well as just about any other browser that is likely to come along.
This is quite different from the approach taken by Microsoft's Outlook™ Web Access (OWA), which in practice is limited to access only on Microsoft's Internet Explorer™ browser. This makes the PostPath Webmail Client the most sophisticated and practical option for Apple Macs, and Linux and Unix workstations, as well as on Windows desktops.
In many real-world solutions, users will have (or need) access to multiple clients. In many cases, the web client will supplement a user's existing Outlook™ client, but provide the additional flexibility of being able to access email from just about anywhere they can get access to the internet and a browser.
Of course, there will sometimes be users who choose to use only the Outlook™ client. In yet other environments, there will be users who do not need Outlook™ - in fact, they may not even have a dedicated PC - but who benefit from an enterprise email and collaboration account that is integrated into the whole enterprise's collaboration infrastructure. For example, someone working on a shop floor can now be enabled with a web-based account that not only handles email but also allows them to make appointments or track tasks with Outlook™ users in the management hierarchy.
