DAS Snapshot Configuration

A number of tools exist to assist in LVM configuration and in snapshot configuration, for instance:

Invoke system-config-lvm from the command line to start the GUI LVM manager.
The opensource tool Openfiler provides a convenient way to setup certain tasks, for instance creating scheduled snapshots that "rotate" so that as a new snapshot is created the oldest one is discarded. Snapshot rotation can also be configured if Openfiler is not being used.
